Peanuts Caffè Latte

The Peanut Coffee Latte is a coffee combination that mixes coffee with peanuts and other healthy ingredients. They are emulsified in the Vegan Milker or in the CBE (new product range specialized in coffee extraction).

Since we discovered the option of making coffee combinations using whole coffee beans as another seed that can be ground directly in the filter, we have not stopped creating all kinds of recipes with coffee. We call all these versions “healthy” Café Latte, but it is actually an coffee beans emulsion together with other seeds and natural flavorings that goes beyond the typical conventional latte and should have its own separate category. We call it CBE, which stands for Coffee Brewer Explorer and we hope it will become a new line to be developed for all baristas and coffee lovers.

Properties of a healthy Caffè Latte

The traditional Caffè Latte is an espresso coffee mixed with a high percentage of protein or fat milk (dairy or not). It shows a creamy and attractive appearance.

High quality dairy milk already contains the fat and protein that gives it this quality organoleptic feature, but the one that is packaged needs additives.

With natural plant milks, something similar happens. Soy milk, thanks to the high level of proteins it contains, is the only plant milk that has the capacity to generate foam and the creamy aspect that is so popular in lattes. The natural oat milk, for example, has neither enough protein nor enough fat to generate the frothy appearance. However, most of the plant milk sold for baristas is oat milk. How can this be?

The answer is very simple, packaged oat milk has additives in the form of protein and artificial fats added to it to generate this creamy quality. This manipulated beverage that has nothing to do with healthy, natural oat milk.

With Vegan Milker or the new CBE filter, what we achieve is to make a very creamy coffee latte using natural ingredients rich in protein and fats such as: whole coffee beans, nuts, natural oils and essences, dates, etc. while taking advantage of all its nutritional properties to the maximum.

  • Sea salt a pinch

Preparation:

Preparation time 5 minutes

  1. Pour water at 70-80ºC in the container.
  2. Place the filter inside the container and add the rest of the ingredients except the peanuts and let infuse for 2 minutes.
  3. After the resting time add the peanuts and beat everything with the hand blender for 1 minute.
  4. Remove the filter over the coffee and continue beating with the blender to filter the pulp quickly and easily.
  5. Finish the process by pressing with a pestle and mortar to obtain the last drops of this delicious coffee latte.
  6. You already have 500ml of a great latte coffee for less than 1€ and also a pulp full of properties to make a second extraction or cook with it.
  7. Drinking it in the morning or in the middle of the day will give you the energy you need for any activity.

Alternatives and tips

Enjoy your latte hot or cold. It’s delicious either way!
It will last in the fridge for at least 3 days and the rest will improve its flavor.
